This vast restaurant is located on a lower level in the Radisson SAS and is comfortable, spacious, well appointed and attractively decorated as befits the main dining room of a large first-class hotel. The general ambiance and the comfort of the chairs encourages one to linger and make innumerable trips to the long, long buffet counter with its cornucopia of gastronomic delights.

Kontiki Restaurant serves a buffet dinner which could start with chilled fresh fruit to awaken the taste buds, there is also hot soup such as beef and vegetable, followed by a choice of pasta that sometimes includes ravioli filled with goat’s cheese tossed with button mushrooms and pesto cream sauce. For the main course you can choose excellent roasts from the carvery as well as dishes like vegetable and lentil curry from the hot counter. To end choose from fresh fruits or gateaux and trifle desserts served from the sweet counter, and local and continental cheeses with biscuits from a separate cheese station.
