For those of you who like a bit of history, you will find useful information about the Palace at the back of the menu cover. In addition, we have an on site collection of vintage photo prints, depicting key locations in Malta. Please feel free to roam about the premises.

Maltese gastronomy is a fascinating blend of very strong influences that narrate our Country’s history. Primarily Italian in character, Maltese cuisine also borrows extensively from the kitchens of North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean.

At the L-Ghonnella restaurant we want to give you, our guest, a choice between traditional and contemporary recipes.
