Assaggio means Tasting and this is exactly what you will have the pleasure of doing at Assaggio Ristorante. The restaurant has an Italian theme combined with a Mediterranean and local cuisine to suit everybody’s taste. As Malta is just 60 miles away from Sicily, we tend To use a lot of Italian products and cook Italian food. A lot of maltese dishes are reproductions of Italian cooking.

We serve a variety of Italian pasta, meat, poultry, vegetarian dishes etc. Children are also welcome and we have a variety of Children’s meals available.

The casual but smart restaurant can accommodate up to 70 People easily inside, while outside you can also enjoy Your meal al fresco while enjoying the view of the Church of Mellieha which is on top of the hill.

The starts are an inspiration to the food lovers and the main dishes are belly filling and tasty. All food is prepared on order, so anyone that is allergic to any kind of food, we can alter according the receipe.
